Jamie McKenzie is an established DOP and Director with over 15 years experience across a mix of formats and genres. Originally starting out in London his experience has seen him shoot around the world providing content to all the major networks in the UK, Australia and NZ. He has worked in a variety of situations including underwater, aerial and extreme enviroments.
As a director Jamie has directed and produced 1000's of promos and TVC's both independantly and through his production company Pure Productions Ltd. Jamie's expertise lies in his talents to not only capture stunning images but also in his ability to work with scripts and talent to create highly emotive work. With a love of story telling and a passion for authentic filmmaking he brings a host of skills to every production.
His rates vary on the requirements of the production and the gear required. His gear includes: Sony F5 4k kit, Nikon high speed primes, Canon & Panasonic DSLR's kits, sliders, dollies, motion control timelapse rigs, Go-Pro kits, field monitors, underwater housings, DJI camera drone rigs, DJI Ronin stabiliser rig and several lighting options include LED and tungsten. A 4 door 4WD Jeep Wrangler is available as a production vehicle which also has an inverter providing field power.
Jamie is a member of the New Zealand Cinematographers Sociey and and the New Zealand Advertising Producers Group.
